We have just learned that Echo Elliott Bacon died in Austin TX on July 14 2011. She was survived by her husband James Bacon.

Class of 1957.  Jim died ​in Oshkosh Wisconsin when ​the​ ​ small plane he was flying crashed upon landing at the local airport there. Jim and his wife Juliet ​live in Versailles KY​ and have three daughters​. ​ He was a brother to Joan (Oeffinger) Smith '60 (James L. Smith '59) and uncle to Gregory M. Smith '86 and Scott Smith '89 (Erin Hazen '90 Smith).​
